Please note the Cetane rating for Shell Diesel and Shell V-Power diesel is 51 in India. This is in line with the requirements laid out in Bharat Stage (BS) norms.
Effective April 1, 2026, both Shell (regular) Petrol and Shell V-Power petrol grades dispensed at our outlets are E20 compliant with a minimum RON of 95, in full conformity with Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas notification dated Feb 17, 2026, and Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) specifications.
